Zulu Radio’s programming has been designed with the aim of ensuring continuity/fluidity between songs, the concept of a playlist. Promotes the musical culture of the “underground” world of local and international talents of the genres: Rock, Pop, Funk, HipHop, Dance, Lounge and Fusion.

Weekly Musical Programming:

Dance Beats – 12 AM to 5 AM
Get out of your house for the holidays and tune in to this dance music session that will lift the spirits of even the more pessimistic. With a variation of levels of rhythms from artists from the modern era of electronic music along with classic dance records such as: Jamiroquai, David Guetta, Pnau, Sussie 4, Capsule, Sneaky Sound System, Fenech-Soler, Crystal Castles.

Environmental Mornings – 5 AM to 10 AM
The musical session of these genres motivates the listener to enrich themselves with an adequate morning symphony and educational as it travels from the times of the 50’s to the present day. In these hours you will listen to artists of our time such as: Chambao, Jack Johnson, Air, Pereza, Bjork, Love of Lesbian, Jorge Drexler, Boards of Canada and then in moments you will travel to times of the past to tune in to artists like: Blondie, Roy Orbison , David Bowie, Dire Straits, BB King, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, Diana Ross, The Who, Velvet Underground, Buffalo Springfield, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones.

Pop and Rock – 10 AM to 3 PM
This session occupies most of Zulu Radio’s musical programming due to the large number of artists that emerge from the Pop and Rock genres and our intention is to show Indie artists from both genres and merge them with Pop and old Rock. That is to say that during these hours you will tune in to modern rock and pop artists such as: Beck, Class Actress, Denver, Stereophonics, Zoe, Athlete, The Temper Trap, Arcade Fire, Brandon Flowers, Diego Mena, Interpol, Jet, Muse, Them Crooked Vultures along with artists from the past such as: Soda Stereo, Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Talking Heads, The Clash, The Cure.

Funk and Hip Hop/Latin – 3 PM to 5 PM
This session takes you to the groove of the afternoon with underground rhythms from local and international funk bands at the same time fused with hip hop bands from the past and now. In these two hours you will find artists such as: Calor Urbano, Calle 13, La Mala Rodriguez, Kid Cudi, Matisyahu, Rita Indiana along with Santigold, 2 Pac, Public Enemy, Missy Elliot, Gorrilaz, Beastie Boys.

Chillout Reaggea and Lounge Afternoons – 5 PM to 7 PM
Say goodbye to the afternoon of the day and introduce the night with liberal rhythms and Caribbean beats to digest the day and give way to the new night with fusions of Raeggea and Lounge featuring artists such as: Beres Hammond, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse alongside Cafe del Mar, Zero 7, Caribou, Chili, Cohoba, Groove Armada, Air, Mazzy Star, Regina Spektor, Thievery Corporation.

Night Fusion Beats – 7 PM to 12 AM
Raise the spirit of the night with the most experimental and transcendental fusions of the time. This session takes you to know genres and artists never before known and will teach you a new way to enjoy the night with the guidance of artists such as: The XX, Phoenix, Wave Animales, Who Made Who, The Whitest Boy Alive, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Robyn, Futurecop, MGMT, Goldfrapp, Twin Shadow, Rusted Root, The Dandy Warhols, Daft Punk, The Black Ghosts, Empire of the Sun .
