The most important Rock group in the Dominican Republic came to Zulu to play their music live, and it was seen all over the planet. On Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 9 PM.

The band had its beginnings in 1988 when vocalist Tony Almont and guitarist Leo Susana met to listen to music and write songs in the apartment of the guitarist’s aunt, in Santo Domingo. From those nights of music and inspiration, the music of Toque Profundo was born. The following year they decided to formally form the band. His career had a rapid rise, obtaining first place in 6th in 1989. edition of the “Rock Olympics”, main event in the 80’s and 90’s, exposing the new talents of local rock.

At the end of 1990, bassist Tomás Álvarez (former member of Los Desafortunados) joined the band, currently occupying that position. Leo Susana and his cousin Máximo Gómez, the band’s drummer, decided to leave the group to give shape to their project by creating the heavy rock band JLS + Cousin Max in 1992, which would later be simplified as JLS.
