Víctor José Víctor Rojas was one of the most beloved singer-songwriters in the Dominican Republic since he began in the 70s as a percussionist and guitar player, in addition to working with Wilfrido Vargas’ orchestra.
In 1972 he recorded his song “El Camino de los Amantes”, with which he achieved national and international projection, as it was recorded by the Venezuelan bolerista Felipe Pirela “El Bohemio de América”.
Born in Santiago de los Caballeros, raised in the Los Pepines neighborhood, son of José Víctor and Avelina Rojas, who had a family of four siblings: Jorge, Miguel, he was followed by him and then Vilma.
